Privacy Policy

Priviw is designed to collect as little data as possible.

We do not require an account to browse the site. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information unless you voluntarily contact us.

When you visit Priviw, standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This data is used solely for security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis. It is not sold.

If you subscribe to our newsletter (when available), we collect your email address for the purpose of sending that newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Priviw uses a single functional cookie to remember your region preference (US or India). This cookie is set by our own servers and contains no personally identifiable information.

We also use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to Priviw and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalized ads are shown only with your consent, which you can give or decline in the cookie notice and change at any time by clearing your browser's site data for Priviw.

Affiliate partner sites (Amazon, etc.) may set their own cookies when you click through to purchase a product. Their cookie and privacy practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Some product links on Priviw are affiliate links. When you click through to a retailer and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. See our full Affiliate Disclosure for details.

When you click a "Buy" link, your request passes through our servers on the way to the retailer so we can measure which products are performing well. We log the IP address and country your click came from, your browser's user agent, the referring page, and which product and retailer were involved. This data is used only for internal analytics and fraud/bot filtering — it is not shared with advertisers and is not linked to any account, since Priviw does not have user accounts.

Clicking an affiliate link does not give us access to your name, payment details, or order information. We only receive aggregate commission reports from affiliate networks.

Priviw uses the following third-party services to operate:

- Supabase (database and file storage) — data is stored on servers in the US - Cloudflare (CDN and DDoS protection) — processes request headers including your IP address - Vercel / Oracle Cloud (hosting infrastructure) - Google AdSense (advertising) — see the Cookies section above; Google's practices are described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Apart from advertising partners, none of these services are given access to identifiable visitor data beyond what is technically necessary to serve the site.

If you are located in the European Union, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.

If you are located in California, you have rights under CCPA including the right to know what data is collected and the right to opt out of sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of Priviw after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
